Hello world, my name is Jeneane Vanderhoof and I am a writer. I found my voice late in life at the age of forty. I had to go through a lot of trumoil and hardship to get here. But now, I find all of it worth the reward. I can't stop the words. There is so much to tell, so much to express.

My first published writings were with a collebration of almost forty northeastern Ohio new publications, online and print. I write artices and poetry. However, my real passion lies with novel writing and I am still at work on several ideas. I'm about fifty or sixty pages into fifity or sixty stories. (I am still working that all out.)

For fun and practice I began to write prompt, short, stories. I had always had a problem writing from prompts starting at in middle school. A member of a competitive writing team of four (or five, I can't remember the number of the team today, at forty) competing in Power of the Pen. When I got there, after the first round of getting a story idea and having forty five minutes to turn out the tale, I realized I should ahve practiced that way at home.

Now, I realize the teacher really should have prepared us better (as we were just kids) but, I take 80% of the blame for this. In life one should always be prepared and learn never to lie most of the blame for anything in one's life anywhere else than at one's doorstep (unless it is really deserved).

On Medium I will share all my work, the entire plethorea. I really haven't decided if I should seperate the fiction from the non-fiction on this page, as I have real life reporting I'd like to share on current events, my opinions on them, here. We'll see how it goes.

I'd like to thank any and everyone who stops here to read my work. For taking the time out of your busy life to stop and smell the roses, sip your coffee or tea while reading me.

Enjoy. God bless.
